Last week, China announced export restrictions on rare earth minerals. China represents 70% of the mining of rare earths and 90% of the refining of rare earths.

Rare earths are essential for various technological products and numerous military applications, including permanent magnets, which are everywhere.

If this stands, the US is in big trouble.
